Frank,
Looks like rain is in the forecast for the track day at VMP on 04/04. When will we know if they cancel it and who do we get our refund from if they do?

Well, after waiting for 4 hours the track officials finally opened one lane. After that, everyone seemed to have a good time. Brent got the Audi down to a 12.3 and I finally got the 300 to 12.92 on the 22's. Not as fast as I would have liked, but I'll take it. Had a customer with an 08 Charger with a CAI and DTP tune trap at 110...good stuff. Another customer with a 06 Corvette that we installed a Head, cam, exhaust and tuned trapped at 118 on his first time ever drag racing...more good stuff.
Brent and I are trying to work out doing a track rental on our own, so if you think you might be interested, let us know.

Yeah it was nice to finally get a chance to race. I was disappointed with my times. Couldn't get the GTP faster than a 12.68 @ 105mph. I did get up to 108mph but posted a 12.71. The Head Wind sure didn't help any and the track seemed to let go later in the day. I was hoping for 12.2's at least. Also couldn't get a 2 wheel burnout to save my life. That is the 1st time that has happened to me.
About the track rental...Rocket Performance said they will be doing a half day track rental for $50.00 since we only got to race 1/2 a day and 1 lane. Will the $100.00 that we put down for the 4th go towards that day as well. $50 for the 4th and $50 for the next time?

from what i understand, there will be another track day and the cost will be $50 for anyone who did this past event. I guess you will need to deal with them directly about the next event and the date.

I will be contacting them. I honestly don't think it is fair to have to pay another $50 bucks for a 1/2 day track rental when we paid $100 for a full day and 2 lanes and got 1/2 of that.
Thanks for looking into it though.
