Supercharger install with possible cam install 2 Months, 2 Weeks ago
|
|
-Do you sell the whipple and what price can I get it at. I would want the 500 H.O system polished or just black
-How much is the install with tune. Im currently running BBK LT's Xpipe and MAC Boomtubes with 93 octane tune and have the SCT tuner
-Also do you install Cams. I heard some on a S197 the other day and I just need to have them. How much for the install and tune on these.
-I can get the whipple for a really good price(buddy works at ford) So I guess this is what I need.....
Quote for a
Whipple, Cam install plus tune. and then the price of the whipple. Also do you think this will be to much for a stock block? or maybe I could just run a conservative tune. I do plan on going to a forged block but just not now. Im looking to do this in the next couple weeks or later if there are no openings at your shop.
Email me at if you have an question. Thanks alot

Frank,
Tried to email you but thats not working. To make a long story short I cancelled my order for the whipple supercharger as they were taking too long. Do you guys sell the whipple H.O? Also I have set of DSPECs and Sportline springs that arrived on my doorstep. what would the charge be for those? Thanks
Ben

The Black Whipple HO runs $5999 plus tax and shipping (around $85)
If you want the car to be custom tuned on the dyno, we can NOT use the handheld tuner that is provided with the kit, we will need to use a SCT X3 or you can use the base tune that is sent with the kit.
Installing struts, shocks and springs will be around $300 also you will need an adjustable panhard bar because of how much those springs lower the car. If you don't do the adjustable bar, the rear axle will actually kick out to one side.

Hey thanks frank for the quick reply. Can I get away for a little while without having the adj panhard bar? Like maybe a month? Im still waiting for a reply on the supercharge that I ordered. It was the polished one though. Kinda pisses me off that its been two weeks and still isnt shipped. As far as tuning I definately dont wanna use the base tune sent with the kit. After you tune it would I still be able to use my Xcal 2 to clear DTC codes?

The polished unit is $6399
As far as waiting on the panhard, the last one we did was with the Eibach Pro which only lowers the rear 1.4" vs. the 2.0" that the Sportlines lower the rear. W/the Pro kit the rear axle moved approx. .75" towards the d/s. Steeda sells the adjustable bar for $159 and installing/adjusting only adds $85
The X2 can still be used for all of the normal functions even with the custom tune
