Own a new GT and looking for an installer in the area...... Just trying to get an Idea of what you guys do. You came recommended off of the Mustangforums.com website
1. Install Aftermarket shifters
2. Suspension pieces, Lowering springs(eibach etc) Lower/Upper control arms. Strut Tower Brace , Adj Panhard rod. Sway bars maybe shock/stuts(lookin at some Dspecs tokico
3. Exhaust, I have a set of mufflers, but waiting for Xpipe and longtube headers
4. NOS, Kennbelle, Whipple
5. Engine work(Cams etc)
6. CAI and tuner(SCT or diablo sport)
There where some other people that where wondering about your services as well. If you cant do some of the stuff above could you tell me where you would recommend, and if you cant do it would you be able to do the tuning once is done, as you know you cant just throw headers on without getting a tune.. Thanks for the help

Welcome to the website/forums. We have done everything on your list multiple times. We are a dealer/tuner for SCT and Diablosport.
SHoot me a call at work this morning, 549-3966 and we can discuss your project.
Also, check out the DTP projects albums in the gallery. There are quite a few 05-up Mustangs projects in there. KB installs, LT header installs, suspension, etc.

Hey thanks, Im actually on deployment right now but when I come back I would like to get something started, Probably just a nice CAI with a tune. One being that I need a tuner anyways when i changed my gears 4.10's im thinking but not sure. Treating this project like anything else(rome wasnt built over night) so either will the stang. Im looking at this combo http://www.brenspeed.com/mustang_2005/airkittuner.html What you think I was told it was a good place to start ? (Its a CandL racer combo. Not sure if you sell it at your shop, if not I would get it here. |

Can't source C&L, but I can get Airrade, MAC or JLT. If you are planning on s/c, I would hold off on 4.10 gears. The CAI and a custom tune should put you up around 290-300hp at the wheels, definetely a great place to start.

Holidays were all good. The rattle in the rear is definelty from the exhaust. When the exhaust is warm and I nudge the driver side muffler there is a clank. Doesnt do it when its cold. Taking it to Ricks Car Care for the rear end issue you guys found on Monday.

+1 on the 4.10 gears with boost. 3.73's will be good combo with F/I.

How much for JLT and SCT XCal with 2 tunes, Im guessing the lowest octane (87) but i would like to have the option of running probably 91(or whichever is highest) if they have it in VA beach. Seems like the mustang (stock tune) is kinda boring.

93 Octane is what we have here in Va Beach. Yup, stock tune is REALLY boring!
