Clutch 2 Months ago
Hey guys,

Still looking to replace that crappy SPEC 2+ clutch when we return from this extended underway. Looking for the best clutch that wont break the bank. Was sick and tired of hearing that noise before we left; I don't want to come home to it lol.

We should be back in less that two months. Cant wait to see the new shop!

Steve

Hey Steve,
Check out this link to RPS clutches. The street twin has stock pedal feel and 700+ torque capacity. Pricey, but badass.

OK, it's down to the RAM or McLeod. You guys had any experience with any of these two? I'm assuming I'll have to replace the flywheel as well right?

Re:Clutch 1 Month, 1 Week ago
Hey Steve,
Honestly, we haven't really installed either in a 05+. Did some RAM clutches back in the day on some old 5.0's. Maybe do a search on one of the mustang forums or post a thread asking opinions of the two. Sorry, I couldn't be more help.

Ok going with this clutch here. Specs say I don't have to change out the flywheel. Do you recommend that? Having a brain fart 26 or 10 spline? How many man-hours for install? Thanks guys!

Re:Clutch 1 Month ago
Factory trans is 10 spline. We should be able to turn the stock flywheel. Labor is around $400
